Title: IEA Mentor (Indian Education Act Mentor)

Reports To: Assistant Superintendent of Operations and Information Systems

Terms of Employment: Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week; schedule may vary based on student and program needs).

Salary: $15.00 - 17.00 per hour

FLSA Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-exempt

 

General Job Description:

To provide targeted mentoring, advocacy, and academic support services for American Indian students, with a focus on improving attendance, academic performance, and successful transitions to post-secondary education or careers. Solicit and collect 506 forms to identify eligible students and expand participation in the Indian Education program and its cultural experiences.
